Welcome to my latest hyperfixation: reading old comics. Once again, I didn't know how to explain how to use this code so I spent way too long programming a code generator. š„² I'm hoping it's fairly intuitive, but here's some notes:

COMIC BOOK EVENT CODE GENERATOR
- This is responsive/mobile-compatible, which means all the content will shrink down into a single column on smaller screens. If you have a very tall image, it might end up looking huge on mobile.
Comic Panels with Word Bubble
You can have 1-4 images here as background comic panels. The captions/word bubble sit on top of the images, and you can remove whatever elements you don't like.
Bottom Caption
- Header and Panels & Word Bubble are vibes-based, not functional as comic panels. They can show up to 4 images. On smaller screens, images will rearrange, and the word bubble will end up pointing somewhere else.
- Panels & Word Bubble looks best in a full width row, but you can freely flip between that and Images - Stacked to see which effect you like best.
- For each row: Swap will switch the contents of the left and right columns. Up/Down will reorder a row. Clone will duplicate a row. Trash will delete the row.
- This code has a hidden lj-cut, which you can disable in the HEADER menu. You can also disable the header there.
- Click the COLORS toolbar to edit the code colours. Light theme and Dark theme are essentially the same except that Dark has an outline around the caption-style titles so it pops better against a dark bg. If you want to add/remove the outline somewhere, that's

- Text Style 2 will look horrible if you use anything but regular text. If you're facing issues, comment below and I may be able to help.
- If you want to use a styled list or textarea (seen above in Text Style 1), you can paste the code below into any Main Text field. This list is compatible with Text Style 2 (regular
litags aren't). - The code generator will autosave your work. Click "AUTOSAVE ON" for other options, including importing/exporting data.
